Neill Simmons, amateur astronomer and director of Nighttrek.com,
is a native-born Californian graduated from Hollywood High School and Cal State Northridge.
As an early member of the Los Angeles Astronomical Society (LAAS), he helped build their first
observatory in Frazier Park in the early 1970s. Neill was one of the first new award-winning
astro-artists in California and he is also committed to visiting many local observatories and
astronomical sites throughout the world. He gives lectures on astronomy at local schools,
libraries, and star parties.
During the day, Neill works as a Financial Advisor in Woodland Hills, CA.
